If he/she only new about the connection that Ethiopia has with ancient Israel! Jerusalem means, 'the Land of Peace'. Lalibela, or Roha was perfectly designed after the image of Jerusalem, Judea-Palestine/Israel. Therefore, it is called, 'New Jerusalem'. As Christians, we know that the New Jerusalem is above, not earthly. We know that the true New Jerusalem is the Kingdom of Heaven to be inherited by Christ's children... It is the arrival of a Holy Messenger that creates the city called Jerusalem. A King or government, no mater how powerful does not have that ability.
